Based in part on the book A Mansion in the Mountains by Phil Noblitt, which was commissioned
by the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, this lively musical shares
the history of the Cone dynasty and their home, Flat Top Manor in Blowing Rock.
Learn about the brothers Moses and Ceasar, early entrepreneurs
who made it big in textiles, including Greensboro’s own Cone Mills.
You also will learn more about their well-known sisters, Etta and Claribel,
who amassed the world-famous Cone Sisters Collection of contemporary art.
